Lost and Found..

One day after school, my mom had picked up me and we were on our way home when I find a little boy about my age, with a little puppy who was really cute.
"Mom, look at that little puppy, can I keep it?" I asked anxiously.
"Just relax, we have to get a little information and observe the puppy a little bit."
So, my mom pulled over and asked the boy if he needed a ride home, and we offered a ride for the puppy too!  While coming home, I asked him curiously, "Since you found this dog and I really like it, and I will be playing with it and hopefully you will too! So, what is your name?"
"Ben, I really like this little puppy too and I will be joining you and the puppy to play."
The next day, before school, I started my day with visiting my friend Ben, and our little lost puppy.
"Did the puppy whine at all last night?" I asked.
"Nope not a sound that I heard." Ben replied.
"Well, good job Butterscotch!" I said proudly.
"What?! What did you call him?" asked Ben in shock.
"Butterscotch, do you think that fits him?" I asked.
"Fits him for what?" said Ben curiously.
I think he was kind of like afraid of naming this puppy. Almost like he was afraid of the responsibility of taking care of it.
"For a name, is that a good fit name for this puppy we are taking care of now?"
"Ya, I guess so."
I felt a little disappointed, but I really felt bad for this puppy, so I felt that we should give him company. So off we went to the pen.
"Hi Butterscotch!" Ben and I said in unison, as we started playing with him.
Butterscotch is not as cute as he looks. I mean he is cute but, yet feisty.
The next weekend, after soccer practice, I went over to Ben's house and saw Ben trying to get Butterscotch to play, but Butterscotch wouldn't budge.
" Butterscotch, you want a treat?" Ben persuaded.
But all I heard was a "dog whimper" from Butterscotch. I was really getting really suspicious after I heard that, so I went over to Ben and talked to him about Butterscotch.
" Ben, are you noticing what I am noticing?" I asked.
"I hope so. I was on my way out to go visit Butterscotch, when I heard him whining. I wonder whats going on!" He said curiously.
"I bet he is scared." I declared.
"I bet he doesn't like us." Ben said rudely.
What was he thinking?! I spend a lot of time playing with him and Butterscotch! I was very disappointed that he thought that was the problem with Butterscotch, how rude.
  " You're kidding right?!" I asked him.
"Well, I am almost ALWAYS taking care of him."
 "Whatever." I said annoyed.
" He's acting up because he misses his family. Not because he is mad at you guys." said mom unexpectedly.
" That makes sense!" replied Ben.
" Ya Ben, don't blame it all on me!" I said bull-headed.
" He He. Oops sorry, no really, I am sorry." Ben smirked.
"Wait a minute, We should keep Butterscotch!" I decided.
"What do you mean?" asked Ben.
" I really think it's pretty self explanatory. I mean we should keep him!" "We give him company, and we have the 3 main things that he needs in order to live." I said seriously.
"Well, its fine with me!" Ben said excitedly.
Next morning I take my daily visit, when, I am greeted with my best friend, Ben, and my favorite puppy, Butterscotch. (I'm so special!)
I say,"Hey Ben and Butterscotch, are you ready to play?!"

Basketball!

I play basketball, and I am going to explain all of the positions and how to play the game.
Basketball is an intense sport. Your 2 priorities are to know where the ball is, and if you have the ball, put it in the hoop. In this sport you do have to have an enemy. Not necessarily but you have to be "mean" or "tough" to the person you are defending.
There is a point guard in basketball, their job is to dribble the ball up the court and start mostly all of the plays. They are located anywhere on the court, if you are the point guard, you have to be able to control the ball and you have to move fast. Only because everyone on the other team is trying to stop the ball from getting to the hoop.
The post is the "plow" (no offense posts). But they truly have to be strong on the court and with the ball. They cannot be weak, their job to have strong hands and be able to shoot with people around them, trying to get the ball. That's why they have to be strong with the ball. The posts are located at the bottom block. Which is right before the baseline, (I play post and I like it).
Next is the wings. They have to be able to control the ball like the point guards. But, they have to be able to shoot, and make the shot from anywhere on the court. They're located around the 3 point "rainbow" or half-circle.
Well I really like basketball and I hope you like it too!

What Eggs Really Are...

There once was a girl named Haley and a boy named Nathan. They both believed that eggs were absolutely disgusting. ( I agree with them.)
One day at school they had to do an assignment on bar graphs. The students had to go around asking who liked eggs, because that is what they were having for a brunch that day. So everyone went around but nobody asked Nathan or Haley, knowing that they don't like eggs.
When they had to do a presentation to the class, the next day, the teacher asked why Nathan and Haley weren't on the list of either liking eggs or not.
The students all replied,"They BOTH don't like eggs!!"
"Well why not?!" asked the teacher in shock.
Nathan and Haley both looked at each other thinking,"What? We are the only one who doesn't like eggs? They have little baby birds in them.  Are these people crazy?"  You could tell they were thinking that because they had those expressions on their faces.
"Well, students, we will just have to prove them wrong," said the teacher.
  Nathan groaned, "Great..."
The next day the kids all got organized in the morning and went right to recess. Everyone kept picking on Nathan and Haley and making little jokes about them thinking they hated eggs.
"You know we all have our own opinion, when it comes to liking food. We may not like what you guys think are delicious," said Haley nicely.
So then the teacher had the class say sorry once Haley and Nathan got done telling the class about their opinions. But when the school day was over Nathan went over to Haley's house to study then Haley said, "Should we try some eggs?"
Nathan agreed.  And they began cooking.

My Fantasy...

One day after school, my sister, Emily, and I went outside to play with the neighbors on the swing set. When we came upon unicorn!
"Awww, he's cute!" said Emily right when she saw the unicorn.
I have to admit that I agree with her, she is cute.
"What should we name her?" asked one of the neighbor boys. I thought it should be something happy. Like, to fit one of the traits of a unicorn. So I thought of Bubbles!
"Hey Emily do you like the name Bubbles?" I asked hoping she would agree.
"Of course! I love that name!" said Emily excitedly.
But, there was this little feeling that was bothering me, I couldn't quite figure it out. Then I realized, who was going to take care of this unicorn and will mom let us keep it?
Later that day, I got in an argument with Emily. Yes, I know it's hard to believe but we did. It was about who was going to be in charge of Bubbles.
"But, I'm the one who said she was cute first!" declared Emily. I was shocked that she was going to keep this up! Thinking that she was actually going to win me over.
So I fought back saying," I am not going to keep this up, if you want to take care of her fine, but I have to warn you, it's harder than it seems."
It was Emily's first day of chores for Bubbles and she was already have troubles. She was either saying, "Help I'm stuck in the fence" or  "Bubbles is acting up, she's just standing there."
The next day Bubbles was laying down and moping. So, I went over to the fence and petted her and talked to her. Then she seemed fine, but after supper  I went to go talk to her, to give her company and she was GONE!
I didn't want to disappoint Emily so I just kept it to myself.
The first thing I did to help find Bubbles, was I called 911 and report a missing unicorn. But, of course they didn't believe me, so then I called my mom and dad and told them because they know I'm telling the truth. So they went out looking on their lunch break! But I realized something... why would Bubbles leave in the first place?
"Emily come down here I have to tell you some news about Bubbles,"  I screamed from the bottom of the steps.
"Ok I'm coming!" responded Emily.
Once I told her that Bubbles has gone missing, she freaked! She started crying! I really didn't think that Bubbles meant that much to her, I thought she just thought that she was a toy, you can play with it but it might not mean anything to her.
I seem to realize that unicorns really don't belong in the city, or anywhere besides rainbows. But I keep telling Emily that and she doesn't seem to understand it, but that with come with a course of time!
